Rachel Murphy expressed his deep concern about the traumatizing experience that Toto (his five-pound dog) went through at the weekend. Rachel claimed that the dog was bloodied and distressed after a groomer had taped Toto r’s lips shut.
Rachel explained, "My pet was clearly distressed. What I thought was a muff turned out to just be tape. Toto r was clearly injured and his paws were red. His toenails, cut too closely to the paws likely caused him to bite.
Wow! My Dog, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.
Rachel immediately took Toto to the veterinarian for urgent medical attention. In joining other individuals who have also made similar claims, he has accused Wow! My Dog of animal abuse. San Mateo initiated an investigation for possible animal abuse.
Rachel described the wounds he noticed, saying: "I noted injuries around the joints, the neck, as well as in the genital. The cuts were severe enough to cause bleeding."
Marianna De las Vegas, a customer of Wow! My Dog, posted a review on Yelp, detailing how his pets were returned to him injured or unwell. A Snapchat video captured by a customer showed a dog with obvious pain. He claimed that the groomer had forcedly inserted a towel into its ear.

Wow! My Dog wants its customers to understand what their groomer said to him. After all, they trusted this person with the care of their animals. Rachel stated, "Juliann informed to me that the use of tape to close the mouth is acceptable and normal. He claims it is preferred to using a mute, which is harmful to dogs. He also mentioned that he personally uses this method on his own dogs."
Gate News called Wow! My Dog and she answered, but then handed the phone over to another woman who told Gate News that they were looking into the allegations. When asked about check here Wow! My Dog, the woman quickly stated that it is a separate entity. Then she abruptly ended her call.
